I was brought up and used to be a follower of the Divine Church of Isaac T. Jones. My family and church pressured me to become a church missionary but I refused to comply. As a teenager I floundered a little and my father decided to enroll me in a karate class at the local Police Athletic League. He hoped it would provide some structure to my life.

Since then, my life has not been the same.

The disciplined world of martial arts was my true calling. After obtaining a fourth degree blackbelt in karate, I followed one of my teachers to Rio de Janeiro, South America. I lived there for six years and became an expert in capoeira.

Since then I have returned to the States and now own Hollis Martial Arts School in South Central, Los Angeles.

When a lynch mob attacked the prophet Isaac T. Jones, only one man appeared to defend him. That stranger, Lion of the Temple, carried a special sword and lived by the ideal it embodied. I’ve dedicated my life to his ideals and bravery. One day, when we discover the sword, we will be reunited with our past.
There are three kinds of human responses: the deliberate, the instinctive and the automatic.

Deliberate is when you think about your actions. Instinctive is when you just react. Automatic is when you do something from habit because you've done it before.

The warrior uses the power of the brain to be deliberate and the power of the heart to be instinctive. Warriors are never automatic except when they're brushing their teeth.

Try to think.
Feel. Be real.
